I have been a producer at Daybreak TV Productions for more than 20 years. Within this time, I have had the privilege of working with great people, and together we have produced award-winning programs. During my tenure, there have been changes in technology, technique and promotion.

"Our Daily Bread" is now in its 17th season, and it has also seen many changes. When we began in 1997, Sister Bernadette Okulicz, FSSJ, and Sister Barbara Cirico, RSM, were hosts. Today, it is Father Paul D. Seil.

In the beginning, we would travel to different parishes and cook in their rectory kitchens. Today, we film at St. Bernadette Parish in Orchard Park. Initially, we aired only on WKBW-TV Ch. 7 and local cable companies. Now, "Our Daily Bread" airs across our nation via Catholic TV.

We will now be posting entire "Our Daily Bread" shows online. This month, "Our Daily Bread" airs Saturday, Oct. 11, at 5:30 a.m. only, but you can watch Father Seil and last month's guests from Baker Victory Services' WAY Program any time you like via Daybreak TV Production's YouTube Channel.

In addition to YouTube, "like" us on Facebook to keep up with the show notes and recipes, or follow our Tumblr page. Here, you will be able to read my stories about the show, check out photos of food and see what happens behind the scenes. Father Seil may even post comments.

No matter the changes, "Our Daily Bread" remains a cooking show that follows Jesus' example by inviting people to share food, fellowship and faith. Now, we just have a few more ways to share it with you!
