It's always nice to get to know the people you work with, especially when you are all working toward a common goal: spreading the news and ministry of the Catholic Church. Some people may call this evangelization. Me, personally, I like to call it "talking about my job."

I enjoy collaborating with everyone from the Office of Communications, which houses people who work at the Western New York Catholic newspaper and in public relations, social media and radio ministry.

Let me be the first to say that our neighbors here in the office are very talented and are a pleasure to work with. So much so, that we asked a few of them to join "Our Daily Bread" host Father Paul D. Seil in the kitchen to talk about their ministry and what's new in communications.

Now, I don't want to spoil anything by telling you their news now, so I will just say, make sure you tune in to "Our Daily Bread" Saturday, June 10, at 6:30 a.m. and noon on WKBW-TV Channel 7. On the menu: venison stroganoff, taco stuffed peppers, and corned beef hash. All the day's recipes can be found at www.odbtv.org and entire "Our Daily Bread" shows can be viewed on the Daybreak TV Productions YouTube Channel.
