In an effort to expand strategic affiliations, D'Youville has joined NetVUE, the Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education, a nationwide network of colleges and universities designed to expand and deepen vocational exploration and discernment among undergraduate students. The initiative is administered by the Council of Independent Colleges with generous support from Lilly Endowment Inc.

Among the 251 NetVUE institutions from across the country, D'Youville is the first member from Western New York.

"This partnership will enhance the student experience by providing resources and opportunities for students to engage in vocational exploration, which prompts them to consider their life's calling and purpose during their time at D'Youville," said D'Youville President Lorrie Clemo Ph.D.

As a member of NetVUE, D'Youville is entitled to a wealth of conferences, gatherings, resources and grant opportunities.

"D'Youville equips students with the professional skills necessary to be successful in their future professions," said Chief Mission Officer Jeffrey Papia. "Our partnership with NetVUE ensures that even as we do this, students will be encouraged to discover their calling and develop meaningful lives. In other words, even as they learn how, they will be moved to ask why."
