Annual Novena for Life begins

The Respect Life Committee of St. John the Baptist Church in Kenmore, will hold their 35th annual Novena for Life beginning on Monday, Jan. 14, and closing on Tuesday, Jan. 22, the 46th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision on abortion.

The novena consists of the rosary and the Mass and will be held in the St. John Neumann Chapel at the corner of Englewood and Belmont avenues. Each evening will begin at 7 p.m. The exception is Saturday, Jan. 19, the novena will be held in the main church with the rosary after Mass.

On the final evening, Monday, Jan. 22, there will be adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until midnight

All are welcome and urged to join in praying for the end of abortion and a greater respect for all life.
