Harmonia offers 'Christmas by Candlelight'

Harmonia continues its tradition of a cappella Advent and Christmas music, performed in the beauty of candlelight.

The musical group's December schedule includes three concerts at Catholic parishes featuring music from the Renaissance through the present. The works of Bach, Poulenc, Rutter, Lauridsen, Mealor, Stopford, Gibbs, and Rockapella will be performed with songs like "The First Nowell," "Masters in This Hall," "'Twas in the Moon of Winter Time," "Lullay My Liking," "O Magnum Mysterium," "Rise Up Shepherd and Follow," and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." Lighting will be provided by Lockport Stage Works.

Harmonia is a professional vocal ensemble that performs across Western New York. The suggested free-will donation is $15.
