The Wyoming County office of Catholic Charities has moved to a larger, more accessible site and is now serving clients two days each week on the campus of Community Action for Wyoming County in Building #1, 6470 State Rt. 20A, Perry.

The previous site, located on West Buffalo Street in Warsaw, operated just one day each week. For individuals and families seeking emergency basic assistance, counseling services, and other assistance and referral, the new location is open on Mondays and Wednesdays.

"Through an agreement with Community Action for Wyoming County, we are able to triple our space over our previous location, provide an accessible, barrier-free site and maintain staff there a second day every week," said Dan Greene, district director for Catholic Charities' services in Genesee, Wyoming and Orleans counties. "We also look forward to providing services on the campus with other local human service organizations."

Services available in the Tri-County area are located in Perry, Albion and Batavia. They include basic assistance; counseling for individuals, couples and families; Domestic Violence Offenders program; Our Kids: Parent Education and Awareness Program, Home Visitation Program for homebound seniors in Genesee and Orleans counties, Friendly Phones for seniors in Orleans County, and Eastern Wyoming County Outreach for nursing home and hospital patients.
