Respect Life Sunday includes Life Chain

Bishop Richard J. Malone will be the main celebrant at the Respect Life Mass on Sunday morning. Following the Mass, there will be a blessing of families, babies and expectant mothers.

The annual life chain along Niagara Falls Blvd. from Main St. north toward Niagara Falls, will also take place on Sunday from 2-3 p.m.

Locations for the National Life Chain are listed below:

1. Pro Life Committee of Chautauqua County (PLCCC) - (representing Blessed Mary Angela, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Holy Trinity, Dunkirk; St. Anthony and St. Joseph, Fredonia; Our Lady of Mt Carmel, Silver Creek and Forestville; and St. Dominic, Brocton and Westfield) 2-3 p.m. at Blessed Mary Angela (St. Hyacinth worship site) on Route 5, Dunkirk, heading west to Route 60 (Central Avenue), continuing up Route 60 to Fredonia State College.

2. St. Martha, Depew - 2-3 p.m., Niagara Falls Boulevard and Erie Avenue, North Tonawanda, on the southeast corner, in front of the Tim Horton's Coffee Shop.

3. St. Bernadette, Orchard Park - 2-3 p.m., beginning Main Street at Niagara Falls Boulevard.

4. St. Mary, Canaseraga - 2-3 p.m., corner of Route 70 and North Church Street, Canaseraga.

5. St. Leo the Great, Amherst - 2-3 p.m., west side of Niagara Falls Boulevard, corner of Tonawanda Creek Road. (White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery), West Amherst.

6. St. John Paul II, Lake View - 2-3 p.m., Niagara Falls Boulevard between Willow Ridge and Draden Lane, West Amherst

7. Blessed Sacrament, Tonawanda - 2-3 p.m., Niagara Falls Boulevard and Longmeadow Road, Amherst

8. St. Paul, Kenmore - 2-3 p.m., Niagara Falls Boulevard between Yorkshire Road and Romney Drive (in front of Burlington Plaza).

9. St Pius X, Getzville - 2-3 p.m., Niagara Falls Boulevard at Creekside Drive.

10. St. John the Baptist, Kenmore - 2-3 p.m. on Braxmar Road and Niagara Falls Boulevard, Tonawanda (one block north of Brighton).

11. St Mary of the Angels, Olean - 1:30-3 p.m. at the intersection of Routes 417 and 16, Olean.

12. Sacred Heart of Jesus, Bowmansville - 2-3 p.m. on Niagara Falls Boulevard between Draden Lane and Edward White Drive.

13. St. Isidore, Perry - 2-3 p.m., Main Street, Perry.

14. St. Gregory the Great, Amherst and Chesterton Academy 1 - 2-3:00 p.m., intersection of Niagara Falls Boulevard and Maple Road, across from the Boulevard Mall.

15. St. Jude the Apostle, North Tonawanda - 2-3 p.m. near Erie Avenue and Shawnee Road.

16. Our Lady of Czestochowa, North Tonawanda, 2-3 p.m., with St. Jude the Apostle Parish, Niagara Falls Boulevard north of Erie Avenue, North Tonawanda.

17. St. Mary, Swormville - 2-3 p.m., Niagara Falls Boulevard north of North French Road on east side of the road in front of the Wegmans Plaza, West Amherst.

18. Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph, Niagara Falls - 2-3 p.m., St. Joseph worship site (1413 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls)

19. St. Vincent de Paul, Niagara Falls - 2-3 p.m., near the corner of Niagara Falls Boulevard and Military Road, Niagara Falls.

26. Saint Patrick, Randolph - will recite Rosary before weekend Mass.
