Bishop Richard J. Malone will bless animals on the front lawn of his residence, 77 Oakland Place in Buffalo, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, the day before the Feast of St. Francis.

The tradition of blessing animals, dogs, cats, birds and all other two-legged, four-legged and no-legged creatures, is conducted as a remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi's love for creation.

All animals are welcome.
