Our Lady of Charity Parish in Buffalo will host a program for young people 16-21 who would like to obtain their high school equivalency diploma.  The program will be held at Maguire Hall at 51 Alamo Place and is free of charge.

The program, called "Tomorrow's Youth Today," will begin on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 9:30 a.m. There will be a practice test that will lead to a series of actual classes that will help prepare participants to receive a high school equivalency diploma (GED/TASC).

Classes will be held on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to noon and on Thursday afternoons from 1 to 3:30 p.m.  Students choose to attend one class or both classes.

As part of the program, there will be a counselor on site. The program can assist participants in obtaining part-time or full time employment. Also, information on career training and college placement opportunities will be available.

An additional offering will be a program for parents hoping to insure a successful school experience for their children ages 10-12.

To register for the program call 716-822-2668.
