Sister Mary Paulette Tirone died June 17, 2015, in Hamburg. She was 73 years old and a Franciscan Sister of St. Joseph for 53 years.

Sister Madeleine Martel died June 12, 2015, in the health care center of St. Elizabeth Motherhouse in Allegany, shortly after celebrating her 83rd birthday.

Sister Mary Anne Brawley, a Daughter of Charity who attended school and briefly served in the Diocese of Buffalo, died June 6, 2015, at her home in Binghamton. She was 81 years old.

Sister Ann Miner, formerly known as Sister Joseph Marie, died May 27, 2015, in St. Mary Center in Buffalo. She was 89 years old.

Msgr. Herbert G. Engelhardt, a retired diocesan priest, died May 23, 2015, at age 99.

Father John J. Fox died May 14, 2015, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, at age 81.

Ordained a Priest of the Diocese of Buffalo and having faithfully served here for many years, he moved to California for health reasons several years ago and was incardinated in the Diocese of Oakland.

Father Dennis G. Wolf, a priest of the Diocese of Buffalo, passed away on Friday, November 28. He had been pastor of St. John XXIII Parish since 2008.
