Eleven members of the St. Mary's Junior Ladies of Charity volunteered at Ronald McDonald House, Buffalo, preparing dinner for the residents there on Dec. 27. The young women prepared a full taco bar with Spanish rice, fried corn, beans, cornbread and desserts including brownies and pineapple upside down cake. They also made a holiday centerpiece for the table. When their work was done, they took a tour of Ronald McDonald House.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York keeps families with sick or injured children together and near the care and resources they need. Opened in 1983, Ronald McDonald House, Buffalo, is 100 percent funded by donations from the local community.
