Nearly six months into the public phase of the Upon This Rock capital campaign, some of the first parishes to get involved are seeing the benefits of the generous support from their parishioners.

The following parishes received their first round of payments on July 22 and more will follow:

$37, 904-Holy Family in Albion (Fr. Richard Csizmar) will begin necessary repairs to the St. Joseph's Cemetery driveway, replace Lyceum windows and expand youth program offerings as well as its social media presence.

$31,047-Immaculate Conception, Ransomville (Fr. James Bastian) plans to renovate the entrance to the church and new sacristy, install additional stained glass windows, and convert the current sacristy into the Arlene McQuay Memorial Library.  They also plan to build an outdoor shelter to serve their youth, family and parish activities as well as purchase a bell system.

$152,365-Ss Peter and Paul, Hamburg (Fr. Art Mattulke) will establish endowments to fund and sustain the parish, school and faith formation programs as well as to replenish parish savings which funded the recent upgrades and enhancement to the school cafeteria and new parish meeting room.

$81,582-St. Benedict (Fr. Robert Mock) will use funds to create handicapped accessibility by installing an elevator in the school and renovate and update the school cafeteria, which serves as a gathering space for many parish ministries and activity groups, renaming it the Monsignor Tobin Parish Center.

$105,713-St. Mark (Fr. Joseph Rogliano) will continue to restore the interior of the church and paint the windows of the church, rectory and school buildings.

$22,988-St. Mary, Arcade (Fr. Joe Gullo) will establish a deferred maintenance fund to make upgrades and repairs to the churches at both worship sites.

$56,764-St. Rose of Lima (Fr. Joseph Rogliano) intends to invest in paving and restoring the parking lot, making essential repairs to the roof, repoint portions of the church stonework and upgrade the air conditioning system.

$48,198-St. Vincent de Paul, Niagara Falls (Fr. Robert Hughson) plans to install new roofs at Prince of Peace and its Rectory and upgrade its security system, install new roofing at the St. Leo Parish Center, and upgrade the Carillon Bell System at its Faith Formation Center.
