Since the relaunch of Western New York Catholic online in early 2015, we've strived to make our online home an essential site for readers hungry for Catholic news, both local and international. We're continuing to evolve our digital strategy, and our newest online feature will make all of our best news as easily available as an email.

The Western New York Catholic online is now offering free digital email subscriptions to our readers. By signing up for our new service, the Western New York Catholic will send you snippets of Catholic news, along with links back to the full stories on our website, twice a week.

What's the benefit to signing up? While we have many followers on our Facebook and Twitter feeds, many of our posts to social media may not be seen by individuals because of Facebook's algorithm or they're simply not scrolling through the feed at the time we post it. With an email subscription, you can be sure to read all of the big stories of the week in one handy package, delivered to your inbox. Sign up for the service by going to clicking here.

We are grateful for the response we've received since our website was relaunched. Traffic to the site has doubled in a single year, and we truly appreciate all the support you have given us. We're looking forward to providing you daily coverage of the upcoming World Youth Day event in Poland this summer, as well as all the regular content we provide online. Not only do we publish two to four stories every day, visitors can also download a free digital edition of our print issues through our site as well.

Services like this one are supported by the the Catholic Communication Campaign, which helps us to grow in faith, worship and witness. The collection will take place in most parishes the weekend of June 11-12. To donate online, click here.
