The African-American Commission of the Diocese of Buffalo will present "Revival 2015 - Cast the First Stone" on October 13, 14, and 15 at SS. Columba & Brigid Church, 75 Hickory St., Buffalo.  The three-night program will include worship, music and guest speakers.  The programs begin with 30 minutes of praise and worship at 6 p.m. each night.

Revival guest speakers will be Father Charles F. and Father Chester P. Smith, S.V.D., the first African-American twins to be ordained in the Roman Catholic faith in the United States.  The Chicago natives, members of the Society of the Divine Word religious order, authored "Boyhood to Manhood," a rite of passage manual for African-American boys, and "My Family, Our Family," a manual for the African-American family Kwanzaa celebration.

On Tuesday, Oct. 13, Father Roy Herberger, pastor at SS. Columba & Brigid Parish, will welcome participants and Sister Maureen Harris, O.S.F., will lead the group in prayer.  Tuesday evening's music will be provided by the SS. Columba & Brigid Choir.

Wednesday, Oct. 14, will be aimed at and run by youth and young adults.  The St. Martin de Porres Youth Choir will provide the music.  Father Daniel Ogbeifun, parochial vicar at St. Martin de Porres and St. Lawrence parishes, both in Buffalo, and Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, Harris Hill, will proclaim the Gospel.  Father Ogbeifun, a native of Nigeria, was ordained in June.

On Thursday, Oct. 15, Father Ron Sajdak, pastor of St. Martin de Porres, St. Lawrence and Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary parishes, will proclaim the Gospel and the St. Martin de Porres Adult Choir will be featured.  Milagros Ramos, director the diocesan Office of Cultural Diversity, will offer closing remarks.
