Are painful, arthritic joints preventing you from doing daily activities or the things you enjoy? If everyday tasks leave you in agony, and the inability to swing a golf club or stroll the beach is interfering with your summer plans, there is help available.

Catholic Health is sponsoring a community program, "Hips, Shoulders and Knees: Is Arthritis Putting a Cramp in Your Active Lifestyle?" on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 12:30-2 p.m. at Salvatore's Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Road, Depew. Registration begins at noon.

Join Catholic Health orthopedic specialist, Andrew O'Hara, DO, for a discussion and question and answer period on the treatment options for knee, shoulder and hip arthritis. From the latest in injection-based therapies to options for joint replacement surgery, O'Hara will review a full range of available procedures.

"Hips, Shoulders and Knees: Is Arthritis Putting a Cramp in Your Active Lifestyle?" is open to the public. Catholic Health invites area residents to attend two free programs each year. Admission for each additional program is $20 and includes a meal. Space is limited and reservations are required by calling Catholic Health's HealthConnection at 716-706-2101.
