Music, games and food highlight Summerfest

The Our Lady of Charity Parish "Summerfest" will take place from Thursday, July 28, through Saturday, July 30, at St. Ambrose located at 65 Ridgewood Road, Buffalo. The annual event benefits the entire parish, which includes the former parishes of St. Ambrose, Holy Family and St. Agatha.  

Summerfest is a family-fun event and features a kids area, games, a candy wheel, Bell Jar and Pull Tabs, and the largest theme basket raffle in South Buffalo. The Grand Prize drawing  features a pool package and a 55-inch  television.

A classic car show and oldies music open Summerfest on Thursday, July 28, from 5 to 9 p.m.  A Polish platter dinner by Polish Villa II will take place on Friday, July 29, from 4-7 p.m.  Live music kicks into gear at 7 p.m. with local favorites Crash Cadillac.

Saturday begins at noon with food and games. Peaceful Dove takes the stage from 2 to 4 p.m. and the live music continues to 11 p.m. A Chiavetta's Chicken BBQ will be available from 4 to 7 p.m. Dinner tickets are available at the rectory.
