Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School in Buffalo will host its "Anything-but-Ordinary" Summer Timon Camp for all boys entering grades 5-8, from July 11-22. This year's camp will feature day trips to Letchworth State Park, City Hall and other local landmarks.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, campers will go down to the waterfront where they will learn the basics of the sport of crew, and will have the chance to row in the Buffalo River. Campers will also attend classes that will teach them new perspectives with a class in photography, the magic of sound recording, and what all the wonders of the world, both mythological and geological, have to offer. The second week of the camp also includes a prep course for the Catholic high school entrance exam for all incoming eighth-grade students.

Each day begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m. Campers should bring their own lunches. Snacks, milk and bottled water will be provided. Timon will provide transportation to all afternoon field trips.

Campers are able to come to either one of the two weeks of the camp for a cost of $80, or both for $140. As space is limited, a $40 down payment is required at time of registration.

Campers may register by email at summertimon@bishoptimon.com, or by calling 716-826-3610, ext 222.
