Williamsville parish offers vocations night for women religious

Two women religious from the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George from Illinois will speak about vocations in the Diocese of Buffalo Thursday night. Sister Consolata and Sister Mary David offer their perspective on religious life at 7 p.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in Williamsville.

The evening will provide another avenue to religious life, especially for women for feel a calling to more of their Catholic faith. Sister Maria Christi Delaney, who was originally from St. Gregory the Great Parish, is currently in formation in the St. Francis of the Martyr St. George religious community.

The lecture is open to all for any questions about religious life or their specific order. St. Gregory the Great is also offering private sessions with the two women, which people can schedule by calling Kathy Delaney at 716-688-5678, ext. 320.
