Education Tax Credits - We Need Your Help! Bishop Richard Malone was joined two weeks ago in Buffalo by Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Governor Andrew Cuomo to call upon New York State lawmakers to enact the Education Tax Credit (ETC) before they adjourn in mid-June. This measure will not only provide much needed tuition relief for families who choose a Catholic school for their children, it will increase support to our public schools as well. BBQ Chicken Dinner and Theme Baskets. St. Vincent de Paul Society invites you to our annual Chicken BBQ Dinner and Theme Basket raffle. Lectio Divina Workshop. Experience a prayerful encounter with Jesus through Lectio Divina. This traditional prayer form is based on contemplation of Scripture through meditative reading. Bereavement Packet. St. Paul reminds us in his letter to the Romans of many comforting words. During times of loss, loneliness and grief, we may not feel or recognize God's presence in our lives. Though we can't imagine all the thoughts and feelings you are experiencing right now, we do understand a bit about grieving and that, first of all, it is a process. The Office of Family Life Ministries has a free bereavement packet of materials designed to provide support, especially during the initial stages of grief.
